The Primes series are made from tea mushroom skin that allows a person to touch authentic scarring pattern without harming his or her body.
Body scarification has always had a special significance - it has revealed one’s identity, status and spiritual values. However, in today's society, body modification has become more of a part of the image and fashion, having lost its original meaning.

The project introduces a modern person with the true reasons of scarification and allows one to touch the authenticity without harming one’s body. The accessories are made from natural material grown from tea mushroom (scoby). Its properties are very similar to real skin.
Scarring in different parts of the body conveys different messages, so the Primes accessories are devoted to the four main body parts: the chest/abdomen, the back, the face and the shoulders.
